Can Roombanker alarm system support Zigbee home automation?
The Roombanker control panel includes integrated Zigbee 3.0 support. Our current Zigbee offering includes a smoke detector. While we can explore integrating other Zigbee 3.0 devices, this would require further mobile app development and may incur additional charges, particularly for devices outside our planned integrations.
Signal reception might be poor in some rural areas, can I add an external antenna?
Yes. The Roombanker control panel features a standard antenna port. You can readily acquire and install an external antenna from your local market to enhance signal strength in areas with poor reception.
Is it possible to have the mobile app translated into our local language?
Yes, absolutely! We can provide you with all the English text strings from our mobile app for translation into your local language(s). Once translated and returned to us, our team will integrate these translations into the app through an update. We strongly believe that offering the app in your local language will significantly enhance your customers’ confidence and drive sales of our alarm system.
How well does the 3,500-meter wireless range perform through concrete walls or reinforced structures?
The 3,500-meter wireless communication range is measured in open, interference-free conditions. Solid obstacles like reinforced concrete will impede signal transmission, and the extent of this impact varies based on the materials. However, a longer open-field range generally indicates a stronger ability to penetrate indoor obstacles.
It’s important to note that the 3,500-meter range is the maximum for the home security hub. Sub-devices like PIR detectors have a maximum range of up to 3,100 meters, and door/window sensors up to 1,900 meters. These ranges are optimized considering their specific usage, power consumption, and battery life.
Is Google Home/Alexa compatible with your alarm system?
No, we do not currently offer Google Home or Alexa integration.
We need battery backup for the Pico hub. Is this possible?
Battery backup for the Pico hub is already on our development roadmap due to increasing customer demand. We are actively working on integrating this feature into future versions of the Pico hub.
