They are digital communication protocols specifically used in security alarm systems, transmitting alarm signals through standardized digital codes. It provides an efficient, secure, and reliable method for transmitting alarm information from devices to the central monitoring station, ensuring timely response and processing.
How Roombanker App Connects?
The Roombanker home security hub sends data directly to ARC’s protocol converter. The protocol converter translates the data into ARC’s internal language and sends it directly to the ARC platform for real-time monitoring.
Connection via RBlinkConvert:
The home security hub sends data in DC 09 (SIA/CID) format directly to the IP receiver. The IP receiver acts as an intermediary, converting the DC 09 format into ARC’s specific protocol or MRL2000 standard protocol. The converted data is then sent to the ARC platform for processing.
How Does Roombanker RBlinkConvert Work?
The hub encrypts all transmitted data using block encryption with a dynamic key, ensuring that third-party console software cannot decrypt it on its own. Upon receiving a message from the hub, the IP receiver decrypts it and converts the data into standardized protocol messages, such as the SurGard (Contact ID) protocol.

How to Set Up Alarm Receiving Center on RB-Link Security Alarm App
Once you subscribe to the Alarm Receiving Center (ARC) service, your installer or the ARC will provide you with the necessary information, as shown in the image. After entering and saving this information, your ARC service will be activated. Any alarm triggered in your home will be immediately reported to the ARC.
