The CEIBS SRI Class recently held a deeply moving charity event themed “Donations for Education Unite, Charity Shows the Class’s Spirit.”
This charitable event, initiated by a group of dynamic Executive Education alumni, demonstrates the profound impact of collective philanthropy in promoting educational equity.
The CEIBS SRI Class launched its fourth “Three-Year Companionship Plan” charitable donation project in mid-August 2025. With the mission of “spreading love,” the class fully supported the “SRI Shanshu Class” in Liangshan, Sichuan, promising to accompany the students through their three years of high school. The entire class participated, ultimately raising 330,000 yuan, each donation reflecting the SRI Class’s deep concern for the children in remote mountainous areas. On September 27, 2025, three representatives of the Si Rui Class—Guo Zhenwei, Jia Xuefeng, and Li Luwen—carrying the entire class’s instructions and concerns, they once again traveled to Liangshan, Sichuan, to visit the new class of high school freshmen from the Si Rui Shan Shu Class.
Jia Xuefeng prepared cotton coats in advance and personally handed them to children in need, protecting them from the early autumn chill in the mountains.
The three representatives visited the classroom, sharing stories of their growth and life insights with the children. They also listened attentively to each child’s dreams—small wishes like “going to college far away” and “building their hometown in the future.” Through sincere conversations, these small aspirations blossomed into seeds of hope. The Si Rui Class firmly believes that these seeds will eventually blossom quietly throughout the children’s life journeys.
Particularly touching was the presence of several alumni from past “Shanshu Sirui Classes.” They shared their experiences of navigating the mountains, overcoming the hardships of their studies, and ultimately reaching a broader world. Their real-life experiences instilled in the children the confidence that hard work can change their destiny.
The three representatives had lengthy conversations with the children, gaining a detailed understanding of their family circumstances and academic progress. They then confirmed the funding criteria for each individual, ensuring that the funds reached the children most in need, allowing them to receive their funding as soon as possible and focus on their studies.
