A visible outdoor siren signals that an alarm system is in place and is intended to deter intrusion. When activated, indoor and outdoor sirens add sound and flashing lights to warn people nearby.

Different Types of Sirens
For warning inside the building, start with the indoor model. For a visible warning device on an outside wall, consider the outdoor model and check its sunlight and mounting conditions. Use both when the project needs warning at indoor and outdoor locations; check each location separately.
Bring local sound and strobe warning inside the building. The indoor siren works with a compatible Roombanker Hub. It has a built-in lithium battery and uses a separate power adapter for power and charging. Follow the indoor quick start guide for screw or adhesive mounting.

Running a power cable to an outside wall can be difficult. The outdoor siren’s solar panel charges its built-in battery, allowing it to operate without a separate power cable where solar charging can replenish the battery. It does not need sunshine every day: stored energy supports operation during periods without sunlight.
Choose a position with suitable sunlight, a usable wireless signal and access for maintenance.

How a Wireless Alarm Siren Works
Detectors send events to the Hub. The Hub then controls the siren’s sound and strobe according to the system settings.
Wireless range depends on the selected model, site conditions and Hub placement. The open-space figures in the specifications help describe the products; a signal test at the final location confirms the installation choice.

Both models support local feedback for arming and disarming events. Configure the siren to suit the way people use the property.

Emergency and fire events
The configured alarm system can activate indoor and outdoor sirens for supported emergency and fire events.
Water-leak events
A water-leak event can activate the configured local siren warning through the Hub, adding an audible warning at the property.
Power and Mounting
The indoor and outdoor models have different power and mounting arrangements. Use the guide for the selected model rather than assuming the same method applies to both.
The indoor siren has a built-in lithium battery. A separate power adapter supplies power and charges the battery. The manual recommends keeping the adapter connected.
The outdoor model uses solar charging to replenish its built-in battery. Check sunlight and shading before choosing the position, along with access for future maintenance. This helps the installer make use of solar power instead of routing a dedicated supply cable to the siren.

How do I connect a siren to the alarm system?
Use RB Link to add or re-add the siren to the Hub. Follow the matching quick start guide and user manual for the setup steps.
How loud are the sirens? Can they reach 105 dB?
The model specifications list three selectable volume settings: 85, 95 and 105 dB. Choose the setting during installation and verify the result at the actual location. You can adjust both models in RB Link; the indoor model also has a volume button.
How long do the siren batteries last?
The indoor specification lists up to two years in standby mode. The outdoor specification lists up to 4.2 years in standby mode with a fully charged battery. These are standby figures; the frequency and duration of alarms affect actual use.
For the outdoor model, solar charging replenishes the battery during normal operation, so daily sunshine is not necessary. Check sunlight exposure and maintenance access when planning the installation.
How do I test an alarm siren?
Use the Volume Test and Signal Strength Test functions in RB Link. Check the local warning and the wireless link at the proposed installation position. Indoor and outdoor indicators differ, so use the matching guide to interpret the result.
What happens if someone removes the siren from the wall?
Removing the siren from the wall triggers tamper protection. Tamper alarms can remain active while the system is disarmed, depending on the tamper alarm settings in RB Link.
When a tamper alarm is triggered, the siren provides local warning and the system sends a tamper notification to the App.
